Hosta Woodland Garden

Hosta Woodland Garden at Picket Fence Greenhouse – Started this woodland garden back in 2003, it is now pretty much full of shade loving plants.

This is a walk thru area where people can see first hand how these plants do and what they look like at a mature size.

One thing I love about this woodland area is I added items I had around here, such as old fence posts for a border, it works and I like the rustic look..

This hosta garden is planted under old old cedar trees, as you can see many have no growth most of the way up , only at the top.. There again I love the rustic look it gives this hosta garden.

This is perhaps my pride and joy , and hope you get inspired by these photos to create your own hosta haven.
