Orange King Zinnia

Orange King Zinnia

Orange King Zinnia

Orange King Zinnia commands attention with their beautiful vibrant large bright orange blooms.

This cultivar seems to have different structure of petals but regardless very striking in the garden.

A heirloom zinnia that is easy to grow and blooms  summer into the fall months..

The best way to see these plants perform is to plant in mass plantings. Orange King Zinnia prefers a full sun location. The more sun and heat the better. Doesn’t seem to be bothered with powdery mildew .

This zinnia grows to around 30 inches tall.. There are many other cultivars of zinnias , with varying heights and specific attributes.

Butterflies flock to all zinnias so make sure and plenty  of them in your garden beds.

Diane’s Testimonial: What can I say.. another favorite.. So vibrant in the garden.. and they do not require much care.. I do start these from seed but be fair warned they grow fast and have a tendency to stretch indoors.. How I get around that is bury  the stem all the way up to the first leaf section..

You can also see the profusion series which is powdery mildew resistant . I have not had any trouble with this problem with the Orange King Zinnia.

You can buy some of my seed here..
