Displays wide gold margins surround a rich green center; excellent growth rate in nursery containers, as well as the garden.
A medium to large sized hosta that forms an open mound, grows 22 h x 50 w , with leaf size details 8 1/2″ long by 6 1/2″ wide; 1 1/2″ wide gold margins; dark green center
Hosta Summer Breeze has pale lavender flowers open on 24-30″ scapes in July.
Classified as a medium grower, and if you are in Zones 3-9 , it will be a perennial in your area.
Hostas like a well drained soil moist soil , Plant in a part shade to shade area.
Like many hostas this one can be planted in containers, shade and woodland gardens.
Diane Notes: Another hosta winner in my book , purchased as liners in spring of 2010 and they grew nicely , excited to see their potential in the coming years. Would definitely recommend this hosta.
