As fall progresses, an exciting mix of colors appear: purple, orange, and many more shades of blue. It grows in a mostly upright, clumping form, and it prefers poor soil to soil that is rich and fertile.

A very tolerable height, as it grows 2 feet, 3 feet with flower.
Use as vertical accent or in mass plantings. Does well in small gardens or rock garden areas.
Does not spread too fast, nice clumping blue foliage in Spring .
Best grown in sunny location.
