SENECIO macroglossus ‘Variegatus’

SENECIO macroglossus ‘Variegatus’

Variegated Jade Vine, Turtle Ivy, Natal Ivy

This variety of Senecio has thick glossy leaves, twisting and climbing vines that can readh 8’ feet or more provided it is living in it’s native land.

This Kenya native looks very similar to English Ivy, but it has a much more rubbery feel .

Frost tender evergreen vine occasionally has cream to pale yellow flowerheads.

Suitable for growing in containers and great as a houseplant.

Hardy in Zones 9-11, grow as a houseplant year around, Likes sun to partial shade , or under indoor light conditions.

Here is the jade vine I grew in the greenhouse this spring into summer, this is 3 nice sized plants in a 12″ basket. Now I have it growing in my patio for the winter months.

Happy Gardening
